Q: My hotel already has high speed Internet dataports or TV based Internet access in the rooms. Why do we need the CompuGuest solution?

A: The CompuGuest system can co-exist with any existing dataport or Internet solution you currently have in your rooms. The revenue generation opportunities for your hotel are significant. It is estimated that less than 20% of all travelers carry a laptop. Existing in-room dataport or TV based solutions offer no or poor solutions to the other 80%. This huge unsatisfied market can benefit from the CompuGuest solution. Vacationers and pleasure travelers can now have fun surfing the web, playing games, and sending email. The convenience the CompuGuest solution offers will be appreciated by business travelers as well. Not only due to the elimination for the necessity to always carry a laptop but also the potential cost savings and increased productivity our solution offers to the frequent business traveler.

Q: My hotel is not wired for data connectivity, will the CompuGuest solution work in my hotel?

A: Yes. Part of the CompuGuest package includes the design and installation of a network infrastructure solution for your hotel. There is no additional charge for this.

Q: If we decide to purchase the CompuGuest solution, how long would it take to have it installed in our hotel?

A: Typical installations can be complete 45-90 days from signing of the contract. SUBORO will work with your hotel to complete installation in the most timely manner possible.

Q: Is the CompuGuest solution a pay per view or on-demand movie solution?

A: No. CompuGuest is a workstation and Internet access solution for business and vacation travelers.

Q: Does the CompuGuest system work via the TV?

A: Our standard solution is a separate system from the in-room television and allows your guests to work on the CompuGuest system while they or other guests are watching the television.  We also offer the option of replacing the in-room televisions with high resolution HDTV LCD flat panel units that can be used both as a television and as a display for our solution.

Q: Is the hotel responsible for the installation and monthly charges of the high-speed Internet connection?

A: No. The installation and monthly charges are included in the CompuGuest package.

Q: Is the hotel IT department responsible for the maintenance of the CompuGuest equipment?

A: No. Your IT personnel are not required to perform any maintenance on the CompuGuest equipment. Only minor work by your housekeeping staff will be required as part of their normal cleaning and post checkout duties.

Q: What guarantee do I have that your service is reliable?

A: The CompuGuest service is backed by an SLA of 99.5%. If we do not meet this level of service, restitution will be paid to the hotel. Our systems are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and our Datacenter uses redundant systems to prevent loss of service in the event of equipment failure or maintenance.
